Back From Oralndo

We went to Orlando last weekend.. for a family vacation...
and we had a GREAT time...
We got bumped from our flight on Spirit on Thursday night due to 'complications' and since it was the last flight to Orlando we had to catch a flight on Friday morning... which was not nice, since we'd planned to be at Disney that way... it worked out for the best anyway.
We spent most of Friday just getting around our hotel... we got a relaly nice suite with plenty of room..... went to the pool and just relaxed, since we knew we had a LONG day at DisneyWolrd the next day.
Saturday - DisneyWorld... and it was SO much fun... got to see some really fun stuff... but it was crowded and the lines were so long... but it was still good.
Sunday - SeaWorld, which was our fave! Much better than DisneyWolrd....Kailey and i sat right up front during the Shamu show and got all wet.. :)
Monday - Sunbaked by the pool! Kailey, Aiden and I came home while Nathan stayed back in Orlando for work...
So sad to leave the beuatiful weather.. here are some pics

... so two weeks ago, i get an email with an airway bill, saying that i'm receiving a rug from Iran...
i call my dad, he calls my ameh, and yes.. the all chipped in and got aiden a rug as a welcome present...
last week, i get a call from Air France saying that my rugs have arrived and that i need to fill some paperwork to pick them up.. i need to have an invoice to say how much the rug is worth...
i tell them that i dont have anything coz it's a gift.. she, being SO rude tells me to send what i have and that customs will clear it if they want to.
she also tells me that i have to pay storage coz it's been there for over a week.... i tell her that this was the only phone call i received.. she was SO rude and says ' I CALLED LAST WEEK'
blah blah..
anyway.. on Tuesday i call to see if they received my paperwork.. and she says 'Yes.. come pick the rug up and and pay customs $9'
so i TRECK to the airport... 1.5 hour...
pick up the paperwork, go to customs, clear it thru there.. go back to air france, and pick the rug up...
i get home, open it and there are two HUGE silk rugs... GORGEOUS...
i call my dad, and tell him to call Ameh and thank her for us...
Dad says ' wow.. i thought they only sent u one rug' blah blah

Yesterday i get a call from Air France, saying that they gave me the WRONG FUCKING RUGS.. and they want me to bring them back...
i say no.. u come and get it from my house... they say we can't.. i say, well i can't either.
she calls back and says that they can get a driver out at 8pm.. and i say 'thats fine... i'm assuming that you're bringing my rugs too'
she says ' well yours hasnt cleared customs yet'
me: 'you said that they had'
her 'we assumed you were the other lady'
me: you assumed i was the other lasdy 3 times?
her: silence
me: are you there?
her: yes... we will bring you rugs out to you when they clear thru customs
me: can i get that in writing?
her: are you serious
me: yes... here is my fax number
her: ok, i'll fax something thru right now
me: i'd appreciate that... after i get the fax, can you call me to confirm?
her: yes

5 mins later
her: i'm just calling to confirm that we'll be picking up the rugs at 8 tonight?
me: sure, but i still haven't received a fax
her: i'm working on that right now
me: ok

1 hour later
fax comes thru black

5 mins later
me: did u just try to fax me?
her: yes
me: well it cam out black
her: did it? i'm sorry..
me: it's ok... can u send it again?
her: i dont have time right now
me: well i leave work in 30 mins, i need it before i leave
her: i'll try
me: can you put me thru to your manager? i want to ask them something
her: i am the manager...
me: you are? ok...you know what? i've had some time to think, and i think that it's best that you deliver my rugs at the time you pick the other rugs up
her: what? i need to get these rugs to this other lady, she's very irrate
me: then you can appreciate how calm i am about it.
her: MAAM FOR ONE MINUTE PUT YOURSELF IN THIS LADY'S SHOES... SHE'S COME ALL TEH WAY HERE AND HER RUGS AREN'T HERE
me: i...
her: CAN YOU JUST TAKE TIME AND THINK OF HER FEELINGS? AND WAHT SHE'S GOING THRU LAL LA LA LA LA LA
me: (patiently waiting for her to finish) i dont see why you're failing to see that i AM in her shoes.. she doesn't have her rugs, i dont have mine..she drove a long way and didnt get her rugs, i did the same.. so we are in the same shoes.
her: is there anyway we can change your mind, we'll refund your money
me: the refund was jsut assumed... and i'm sorry i can't help you in that way right now.
her: can u leave the rugs outside and we'll just come pick them up
me: it's not an inconveniece for me to open the door.... i'll be happy to give you the rugs when you deliver mine
her: we have a driver out already
me: it's only been 30 mins, i'm sure he can drive back
her: is there anything we can to do change your mind.
me: not at this time.

3 seconds later:
Hello.. my name is blah blah and i'm the manager of Air france cargo...
me: you are? Karen jsut siad that she was

him: we hope you can understand that we have made a big mistake and we're trying to rectify it LA LA LA LA LA
me: i'm more than willing to help to rectify the situation, you can pick the rugs up, when you deliver mine
he: you know you have the wrong rugs...
me: ACTUALLY... i dont, since they were a gift
him: we you DO
me: i do?
him: YES... you can take my word on that, your rugs are here
me: ok
him: we jsut need those rugs

him MAaM.. this is a US Customs issue... do you know how much trouble we can be in/ we need this rectified
me: and i'll help you do that
him: then we can pick the rugs up tonight?

him: MAAM, DO YOU WANT US TO GET CUSTOMS INVOLVED IN THIS MATTER? YOU'RE HOLDING THOSE RUGS HOSTAGE

OH get this...
so when i first asked her to deliver it she says:
her: Well you live in a sub-division, and we can't deliver it to a sub-division
me: ummm i don't live in a subdivision
her; you dont?'
me: no
her: do you live in an apartment?
me: no
her: *long pause* what do you live in then
me: *laughing on the inside at her STUPID HEAD* i live in a house
her: can a truck fit on your street?
me: yes
her: *annoyed* can a semi trailer fit on your street

her: oh....

Birthdays all round!
This morning, at approximately 5:20am, i was going to the kitchen, when from the corner of my eye, i see someone sitting on the couch, in the dark.A little frightened, i slowly turn to see Kailey sitting there, eyes WIDE OPEN with a silly smile on her face ... i asked her what she's doing up, and she said ' im too excited to sleep'!!We're celebrating her birthday tonight, instead of next week, which is her actual birthday.we've booked a hotel that has a swimming pool, and two of her cousins are coming with us.. so she's SUPER excited about it!It's also Aiden's 5th month birthday today... CUTE!!!Photos to come!
